Wasambo Boys High School hosted students from Phwezi Girls Secondary School on 31st January, 2026 during a SCOM exchange visit that turned out to be both educational and inspiring. The visiting students were warmly received, and a series of well-organized activities marked the occasion.
The program featured several SCOM-focused activities, including a Bible quiz conducted by the Wasambo SCOM patron. Choir presentations from both schools added a vibrant atmosphere, with joint performances by Phwezi Girls and Wasambo Boys reflecting unity and cooperation among the students. The event also included a Bible preaching session led by a student from Phwezi Girls Secondary School. Students were encouraged to work hard academically in appreciation of the sacrifices made by their parents to support their schooling.
Another highlight of the visit was a cultural choir performance from Wasambo Boys, which included traditional dances that were well received by both students and staff. The interaction between learners from the two schools created a platform for sharing ideas, skills, and experiences, reinforcing the importance of education and moral development.
Overall, the visit was described as successful and impactful.
