Wasambo Boys High School: A Green, Peaceful, and Inspiring Place for Learning

Wasambo Boys High School sits on a naturally green and peaceful campus in Chilumba, Karonga District. The clean environment, open spaces, and calm atmosphere make it the perfect place for students to focus, learn, and grow. Our school provides a home where boys can study without distractions and enjoy a healthy, supportive environment every day.

We are a boarding secondary school offering Forms 1 to 4 under the Malawi national education curriculum. As a self-governing, non-profit institution, we are committed to delivering quality education through strong teaching, learning, and character development. Our dedicated teachers, each holding a minimum of a degree, care deeply about the success and growth of every student.

At Wasambo Boys High School, we believe that every student can reach their full potential. We focus on individual attention and make sure each learner stays on track academically, socially, and personally. Our guiding principles is to help every student to grow mentally, physically and spiritually by promoting academic excellence, healthy lifestyles, self-fulfillment, and respect for culture and heritage.

Our campus features modern classrooms, well-constructed dormitories, and staff houses that allow for constant supervision and safety. The green environment encourages students to stay focused, relaxed, and motivated throughout their academic journey.

Wasambo Boys High School is governed by the Wasambo Education Foundation and works closely with Determined to Develop (D2D). All school funds are reinvested into improving facilities, supporting teachers, and providing scholarships for students with potential but limited support.

Parents and guardians who choose Wasambo Boys High School give their children more than just a school; they give them a strong foundation for future success. Here, boys grow into confident, disciplined, and responsible young leaders ready to make a difference in their communities.
